Violent Home Invasion Draws No Further Jail

Video:Violent Home Invasion Draws No Further Jail.

The allegations against my client contained offences such as entering a dwelling, assault, torture, robbery and deprivation of liberty.  It appeared to be a very serious example of a home invasion.

In fact he had been refused bail since being charged – he was with another law firm at that time.  After I became instructed the evidence obtained from the victims showed the matter to be less serious than first thought.

My client was admitted to bail after that, and those same facts resulted in a very significant reduction in penalty at sentence.
